Adult Bible Study: “Stay Prepared and Ready”

This is our final week in our six-week study: “Christ’s Return: Living with the End in Mind.” This Sunday our study is from Matthew 25:1-13 “Stay Prepared and Ready.”

When have you been caught unprepared? How do the teachings of Jesus regarding being prepared for His return add urgency to our spiritual walk?

Jesus said, “Therefore be alert, because you don’t know either the day or the hour” (Matthew 25:13). This is something we must do! We are to stay continually awake, constantly keeping watch. Let’s walk with Him, fully prepared and watching for the return of the One who loves us. Join us this Sunday as we conclude the study of Jesus’ return and being ready for His coming.

Adult Bible Study: “Keep Serving Faithfully”

Join us this Sunday at 9am as we continue our six-week study: “Christ’s Return: Living with the End in Mind.” This is week we learn in session five from Matthew 24:42-51 “Keep Serving Faithfully.”

When have you seen a “never quit” attitude on display? As Yogi Berra said, “It ain’t over till it’s over.” For followers of Christ, “It ain’t over till it’s over” applies to the return of Christ.

We are called to serve Him––and continue to serve Him––until He calls us home. The reason we are to be alert is because “you don’t know what day your Lord is coming.” Christ’s return will be at a time that seems least likely. It is like the adage, “When you least expect it, expect it.” This Sunday we will discuss why it is important to faithfully work until Jesus returns.

Adult Bible Study: “Know What’s Coming”

This Sunday at 9am in the Adult Class we continue in part two of our six-week study “Christ’s Return: Living with the End in Mind.” This week are studying Matthew 24:15-22 “Know What’s Coming.”

When have you been glad to discover you were not alone? Unfortunately, many of us have gone through painful moments when we feel abandoned by God. Join us this week as we see that God will never forsake us as the end draws near.
