Adult Ministry

Equip Classes

Equip consist of short term classes designed to help encourage spiritual growth and development. Our Equip classes meet every Wednesday evening for approximately 12 weeks. While youth, children, and preschoolers meet for their age appropriate studies and activities, our adults participate in the classes of their choice. Topics range from Bible study to parenting to witnessing to special men’s and women’s topics.

Missions

Our church takes to heart our Lord’s Great Commission in Matthew 28:19-20. Our commitment to missions is shared by all age groups in our church. We participate in mission causes locally and around the world. We do this through the Cooperative Program of the Southern Baptist Convention and by helping our members to become personally involved in mission projects.

Praise Band

Our Praise Band helps lead the music portion of our Sunday Morning Worship Service and on occasion provides special music. Auditions are required.

Youth Ministry

The teenage years are some of the most important years of a person’s life. Teenagers are figuring out who they are and where they want to go in life. They also are grappling with who God is and all the questions that come along with faith. In the Crown Point Youth Ministry we take our role seriously in introducing teens to Christ and developing them into more mature followers of Jesus. Everything we do has a particular goal in mind. We are a balanced Youth Ministry (missions, evangelism, fellowship, worship, ministry, and discipleship), and we seek to be a Godly, relevant, engaging, and safe place where those in our care can ask the tough questions and seek to make a difference in the world.

Children’s Ministry

Our Children’s Ministry Is as active as our children!

Come join us for Sunday School every Sunday at 9:00am! Our children’s ministries focus on the first through the fifth grades and our dedicated teachers plan and prepare exciting lessons from God’s word each Sunday morning that are age specific for each class.

In Children’s Church, they learn about the Bible with hands on practical applications of the lessons being presented.

On Wednesday evenings, we gather together for our Mission Friends where the children learn about missionaries throughout the world.

Preschool

Our Preschool Ministry Team welcomes you and your children. We provide care for children ages birth through kindergarten. Each child is assigned to an age appropriate class. Our commitment is to assist you in meeting the emotional, physical, and spiritual needs of your children while they are in our care. We strive to ensure a clean, attractive, well-equipped, safe, educational, and loving environment.

Preschool care is provided for all services. We offer Sunday School on Sunday mornings and Extended Teaching Care on Sunday mornings during worship and Wednesday evenings during our Equip (discipleship training) classes for adults. Quality Bible study is presented with a variety of learning methods.

Our preschool will be one of your child’s first experiences of learning about our Lord Jesus Christ in a church setting. Thank you so much for your trust and for allowing us to minister to your children.

College And Single Adults (CASA)

CASA ( College And Single Adults ) is a ministry for college and career singles around age 30 and below. As a Connection Group at Crown Point Church, our purpose is to Connect People with Christ through small-group Bible study, prayer and fellowship every Sunday morning at 9:00 a.m. We hope this connection will be expressed through our involvement in corporate worship on Sunday mornings at 10:15 a.m. and through the expression of our spiritual gifts within the various ministries of CPC.

Music Ministry

Crown Point has a passion for helping people to discover and develop their new life in Jesus Christ by creating an environment where people can freely worship. We believe that God inhabits the praise of His people, and it’s our desire for Believers to experience His presence every time we gather for Worship.

Our Worship and Music Ministry is made up of a dedicated team of worshippers who devote their time and talents so that God is glorified. Our focus is to usher the people of God into the presence of God using the praises of God.
